About Boogietek Photo+Cinema

We are a husband and wife team, and we have been photographing and filming weddings across South Florida since 2008. Pembroke Pines is home, and we work throughout Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade.

Jewish weddings are some of our favorite days on the calendar. So much happens before the ceremony even begins, and that is usually where the best moments live. The quiet minutes before the bedeken. The ketubah signing with everyone crowded around the table. Fathers walking their kids down the aisle. That look between two people under the chuppah right before the glass breaks. And then the hora, which we do not treat like a dance set. We shoot it like the biggest scene in the film, because it is.

We have covered these weddings at synagogues, ballrooms, hotels, and private estates all over the tri-county area, including Beth Torah Aventura, Temple Sinai, Congregation B'Nai Israel, Eden Regal, Turnberry Isle, The Addison, and the Fontainebleau. We are comfortable with a Saturday night start and a reception that runs long, and we know the flow well enough that nobody has to walk us through it on the day.

Photography and cinema come from the same two people. One look, one style, no juggling two vendors who have never met. You get a cinematic film and a full gallery.

We are bilingual in English and Spanish, which makes a real difference with family.
